ヴァージンから宇宙旅行者向けに

メールが来ました！！

ヴァージンオーストラリア航空の話は、よくある会社の再構築の話で、

また、近々回復して復活してくるそうです。

ヴァージン・ギャラクティック社については、社長のホワイトサイドからも、

昨年株式上場を果たしたので、資金的には全く問題ない。

と連絡を頂きました。

ヴァージンの財務状況は安全で、防衛および政府と契約を持つ航空宇宙メーカーとして、

「クリティカルインフラストラクチャビジネス」に分類され、いつでもスタッフを施設に戻すことができます。 

ヴァージンはあらゆる予防策を講じており、多くの労働力は自宅から十分に働くことができ、一部のチームを施設に戻し始めました。 

社会的距離のガイドラインに従い、オフィスのスペースを確保し、設備を再配置し、安全を維持します。

会社到着時に毎日の健康診断を行い、作業方法を再設計しました。

宇宙船の開発は再開されました。宇宙旅行が始まる日は、もうすぐです！！

Dear Future Astronauts,

In a week that’s seen Virgin Group and Richard occupy the headlines, we continue to champion and support our fellow Virgin companies - in particular Virgin Australia. Our hope is that a great product and much loved airline finds a way of recovering and re-emerging soon. Although Virgin Group has always been structured so that its branded companies are quite distinct and separate legal entities, we, and I know many of you, cherish the strength of the wider Virgin family.  
 
It’s a time when we’re also reminded to be thankful for Virgin Galactic's strong position. In the recent message we sent you from George Whitesides, he commented:

“Thanks to last year’s successful IPO, our business is financially very secure. Fortunately, we are not, like so many organisations at the moment, having to worry about cash flows and we are incredibly grateful for that”
 

Whilst our financial status remains secure, as an aerospace manufacturer with defence and government contracts, we are categorised  as a ‘Critical Infrastructure business’ which has meant we can reintroduce staff back into the facilities. We are taking all precautions, with many of our workforce able to work sufficiently from home, we have started reintroducing some teams back into the facilities. We have redesigned how we work so that we can maintain best practice safety protocols such as rearranging offices space and facilities in order to follow social distancing guidelines, and daily health checks upon arrival. We have put this in place for the well-being of our teams – and indeed our local communities. It was terrific to see that as a result of that work, we were able to get our carrier aircraft, VMS Eve, up in the air over Spaceport America yesterday and hope to have more flight news soon.
