Thank you for joining a movement that is committed to stopping once and for all the global spread of communism. For almost a century, this deadly ideology has swept across nearly 40 nations, bringing tyranny and fear while leaving poverty and hopelessness in its wake.

Communist regimes have killed more than 100 million people worldwide. Today, one in every five people on earth lives under an oppressive communist regime. The countries that are still communist are:

3. Cuba
4. Vietnam
5. North Korea

Two decades ago, the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation (VOC) was founded to educate future generations about the harmful legacy of communism while memorializing those who have suffered and resisted this deadly ideology.

Since its founding, VOC has been leading the anti-communist movement and telling the truth about communism's dangerous and deadly force in the world today. By joining VOC's mission, you are supporting our efforts to:

• Teach future generations about communism's deadly ideology
  
  From a range of published educational resources to compelling online virtual exhibits and videos, VOC highlights the individuals and episodes of 20th-century communism, passing on the truth about these regimes to present and future generations.
• Memorialize every single victim of communism
  
  Through our annual wreath-laying ceremony at our memorial in Washington, as well as initiatives such as Witness Project (a video interview series with men and woman who lived under communism) VOC keeps alive the memory of those who suffered and those who died under communism.
• Showing the connection between communism's ideology and its deadly consequences
  
  It's not always easy to see how a book like the Communist Manifesto led to so many dead bodies, but ideas have consequences. With the help of human rights groups, leaders from former communist countries, bipartisan congressional support, people who themselves lived under communism, and many others, VOC maintains a high level of outreach to show how time and again Marxist ideas led to disastrous results across the globe.

All these efforts are made possible by supporters like you who are dedicated to exposing the dangers of communism and committed to advancing freedom in countries stuck in communism's death grip.
