プーチンがタイムゾーンの一元化を図って
いることに対する発言の中で、アルバニアのエディ・ラマ首相が
発したプーチンジョークが拡散している。
タイムゾーンの一元化がいかに非現実的な事態を招くかという事例を
列挙しつつ、
"Here comes the prime minister to Putin and says: Mr. President, we have a problem. I sent my family to rest, I called to say good night, and it's already morning, they're on the beach! I called Olaf Scholz to congratulate happy anniversary. I was told it's tomorrow. I wanted to wish Xi Jinping a happy New Year, they reply, they still have an old one. And Putin says: yes, I have the same problem. I called Prigozhin's family to express my condolences for their loss, and the plane hasn't taken off yet!"
プーチンを例に挙げて、「また、プーチンが”実は私もまったく同じ問題があってね。プリゴジンの家族にお悔みの電話をかけたんだ。ところが、飛行機はまだ離陸していないと言われてね。”というんだよ」というジョークを飛ばした。
アルバニアの首相がプリゴジンの死にプーチンが関与していることを匂わせたわけである。
スロヴェニアで開かれたBled Strategic Forum での発言で、
場内からは笑い声が洩れていた。
