なんと！サマースクールはあっという間に最終日です！🍧⛱🌞🌈👀

GGISは、認可外保育園であるナーサリー・キンダー、幼児や小学生が毎日英語環境で過ごせるアフタースクール、プログラミングも学べるサタデースクール、赤ちゃんがママパパと一緒に過ごせるベビー＆ミーなど、様々なプログラムを用意しています。

各プログラムでは、英語の学習だけではなく、人との関わり合いを増やし、社会性、感受性、倫理観などの育成も見据えたカリキュラムをお届けしています🌻👀🌈

Week 4: Stinky Science

「くっさ～い理科」は生徒達に大人気です😆😆😆

ブヨブヨな個体やネバネバな液体をたくさん作って触りました。

おならやゲップなど、人間の身体に関係する「くさい」話題が満載でした。

最終週の目玉レッスンは、きたないもの代表（？）「うんち」です👀😂

人間の身体で大切な「消化・排泄」について学びます。

実験も、なんと「ウンチづくり」です。材料はオートミール、水、ココアパウダーです。

スライドで、人間以外の動物のフンも比べてみます。

Unko Museun

校外学習は待望の「うんこミュージアムTOKYO」です。

「固定観念を覆す」と子ども達だけではなく、大人まで人気のあるミュージアムです。

ミュージアムの楽しくてカラフルなアクティビティに大興奮。

次々に挑戦します。

校外学習から帰った時、みんなどれくらい疲れてるかなと心配でしたが…、

最終日のスペシャルパーティーで盛り上がりました！

Day 4🍹🌞
Let’s get into our last nasty classroom adventure!
This week has been filled with all sorts of yucky topics, from boogers, to pimples, to burps! Well today we talk about by far the yuckiest things about our bodies: pooping! While poop is extremely gross, the process our bodies undergo to create it is one of the most helpful systems keeping us going. As food travels through our bodies, it is broken down, leaving helpful nutrients and chemicals to be distributed around our body. After all that, moisture is removed, and what we’re left with is poop! With that being said, poop is incredibly fascinating across different animals, like how wombat poop hard cubes, or how elephants’ contain so much fiber that we can literally make paper from it. That led us into our activity today: making poop, and then eating it! Don’t worry! None of it is real poop. Everything was made from oatmeal, water, and cocoa powder. We used this combination to form it into the shape of various animals’ excrement, and then played a guessing game of which one belonged to which. And then everyone ate theirs of course.

Day 5😎⛱🍉🌻
It’s excursion day!
Today, we made a long, exciting trip over to the Unko Museum in Odaiba, as a truly perfect conclusion to our yucky week. Everyone had tons of fun playing poop-based games while shouting “unko!” at the top of their lungs. We even got to see the fabled poop volcano erupt. To cap off this adventure, we ended things with a little pizza party! We’d like to take this time to thank all the wonderful teachers and students who helped to make all the fun we’ve had at summer school!
Hope we can see each other again for more exciting adventures in the future!🍧🌈
