My friend came w/ her son, so I’d cooked macrobiotic lunch for them.
Menu was
*Brown rice, Chick pea, shimeji mushroom
*Miso soup
*Deep fried dumpling, (Soy bean, pumpkin, Quinoa, curry powder), cabbage
*Arame w/ onion (Arame, onion, carrot, daikon top, white sesame seed, soy sauce)
*Suteed daikon (Daikon, papurika, mushroom, ume vinegar, pepper)
*Okara and mugwort cake, chestnut
Okara is the soy bean brun (tofu less)
I’m happy that she likes to eat macrobiotic.
Filling of Deep fried dumpling:
Cook pumpkin and quinoa in sauce pan. Mush and taste w/ curry power. Add cooked soy bean to pumpkin and mix. Wrap the filling then deep fry. This dumpling is big volume and tasty even cool it down.
Arame onion tastes soy sauce only but is has enough sweet. My friend ate Arame first time, she liked that.
Suteed daikon tastes w/
Okara and mugwort cake is good flavor and txture. I use rice flour for this cake.
