チャイニーズニューイヤー/Chinese New Year

China Town

シンガポールには５年ぐらい住んでいました。中国文化が取り入れられているこの国では、お正月が終わると、チャイニーズニューイヤーモードに切り替わります。

写真は、チャイニーズニューイヤーグッズが売られているチャイナタウンの様子です。赤い色のものばかり。日本と同じ用に、お年玉（アンパオと呼ばれています）の習慣もありますよ。お年玉の袋も赤です。この時期、ショッピングモールは1.2日閉店します。

I’d been staying the Singapore around 5 years. This country takes over Chinese culture.

After the New Year, town was decorated for Chinese New Year.

Red color goods which is for Chinese New Year is sold in China town. They have same custom with Japan. Its New Year’s gift (money).It’s called “Otoshidama” in Japanese and called “Anpao” in Singapore. Shopping mall is closed 1-2 days in Chinese New Year.
