友達夫婦がメルボルンカップの朝食に招待されました。朝早くに出かける為、私が仕事に行くまでの間、2歳の女の子Aちゃんのベビーシッターを頼まれました。
彼女は言葉を覚えるのがとても早いです。単語だけではなく、ちゃんと文になっています。台湾人(母)とオーストラリア人(父)の両親を持つ彼女は、話すのは英語ですが、お母さんの話す中国語は理解しています。
私が日本語を教えると、すぐに覚えて使っています。「ありがとっ」「どう、ましてっ」（どういたしましてのこと）「おいしい」など。私にビスケットをくれたので食べていると、「おいしっ？」「おいしっ？」と聞いてきたこともあります。でも、お父さんにもビスケットを渡して、「おいしっ？」と聞いていました。お父さんは日本語わからないので、見ていて面白かったです。
My friends were invited Breakfast of Melbourne cup. I did baby-sitter their 2 years girl “A” before I go to work.
She learns language very fast. It is not only the words, she can speak sentence very well. Her mother is Taiwanese, father is Australian. She speaks English usually, but, she understands that what her mother talks to her in Chinese.
She learns Japanese from me some time. She can say “Arigatou”(thank you), “Douitashimasite” (you are welcome). One day I told her “Oishii”(Tasty). And when I was eating biscuit, She asked to me “Oishii？”(Tasty？) “Oishii？”and she gave biscuit to her father then asked to him “Oishii?”. He doesn’t speak Japanese. It was funny for me.
