I thought this was a scam myself, But two weeks after receiving this e-mail and forwarding it on. Microsoft contacted me for my address and within days, I receive a check for $24, 800.00. You need to respond before the beta testing is over. If anyone can afford this, Bill gates is the man. It's all marketing expense to him.
Please forward this to as many people as possible.

ま、いわゆるところのSPAMの一種であると一蹴するようなメールなのですが
もしかすると、今の時代。こうやってBuzz Makingして、ほんとにお金を出しちゃうなんていう
Viral marketingの手法だったりして。なーんて深読みもしちゃいました。
まことしやかなこの内容、あなたは信じますか？？？

と言うのは冗談で。もし、これが本当だったら。英語が読めただけで、ボーナス獲得のチャンス到来。笑
ねずみ講と同じ。数字が10人が10回FWしたら、既に天文学的数字になるので、やっぱりありえなーい。
ここからが今日の本題。
言葉は、Communicationの手段。あくまで手段に過ぎなくて。完璧ではない。
個人的には芸術やスポーツ、言語すら超え共感を生むる手段の方が崇高で、魅力的であるが。
それでも。対峙する相手の言葉で挨拶とお礼ができただけでも、世に出て広がる輪とチャンスは
限りなく広がるように思う。
私は帰国子女ではないし、とりたてて英語の勉強に時間を費やしたわけでもない。
確かに、子供の頃から英語を見聞する環境は多々あったが、中高時代なんて1番下のクラスだった。
ただ、ビバヒルに嵌り、洋楽にハマリ。意味が知りたかった。映画を字幕無しで観たかった。
ツイン・ピークスの一言一句を、必死に聞き取った記憶が鮮やかに蘇る。
それでも、英語は苦手で。仕事で海外に出ても、外資の企業に入社してからも。
間違えることが恥ずかしく、一時は外線に出るのに怯えたことも、分かったふりをしたことも多々。
でも、幸いに。私が最初に仕事で触れたのはインド人とタイ人。次が、フランス人。
彼らの英語は、一般的に理解しがたい。聞き取れないのは、私だけではないと言うことに気づいた時。
なんだ、聞き直せばいい。電話が分からなければ、念のためemailしてと言えばいいんだ。
そう思ったら、楽になった。
今でも、美しい英語は操れないし、ボキャブラリーは子供並。間違えること多々。
それでも、仕事をし世界の色々な国を訪れては、現地の人と触れ、友達を作ることができる。
基本は、ハートだと思う。面白い奴か。面白い話か。（あるいは、お金になるか、ね）
何を言っているか？相手の主張を理解したいと思ってもらえれば、
言葉が足らずとも相手が助けてくれる。
言葉を身につけることも、一つの身を助く手段だが。それ以上に中身を磨くことは、大事なんだと思う。
だって、同時通訳なんて機械が自動でできる時代ですから。機械にできないことをしなくては。
