“Is there anybody going to listen to my story?”

What’s the best way of sending a message to the world? How would you make people
notice and hear out what you’re going to say?
What would it take to heal and change the ever chaotic world?

 レリー先生

“There’s nothing you can do that can’t be done.”
“Nothing you can sing that can’t be sung.”

Four English boys must have known how – you come up with a
sensible, catchy poetry; then you fuel it with the most captivating melody; and
you sing it…with feelings.
Next thing you know, it becomes the anthem
of the world!

“Words are flowing out like endless rain into a
paper cup
They slither while they pass, they slip away
across the universe.”

 In just seven years, John
Lennon
, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo
Starr
 released
over 200 songs. Their creative and intellectual growth during this time seems
so accelerated that it's almost superhuman.

 The band’s life span
might be too short, yet their legacy resonates throughout generations. The
Beatles remains to be one of the most prolific and successful bands in the
music industry. Truly legendary!

“Singing words of wisdom…Let it be.”

Listening to their songs is a truly rewarding experience for
me. It brings me to another dimension – to a scene or some specific situation,
and I am there witnessing different stories.

“There are places I remember, all my life,
though some have changed.”

It’s
very difficult to pick the best song from their repertoire. Each song is
special in its own way. Each has a story to tell, a thought worth pondering, a
familiar episode where we all have been in. Hence, it’s not that difficult to
find a connection with the songs they make.

“Yesterday,

All my sorrows seem so far away...”

There are songs that make me reminisce and go back to those genuine,
unforgettable memories. There’s a bittersweet longing for things I once had. A
real tug at the heartstrings!

“But still they lead me back – to the long and
winding road..”

“Don’t keep me waiting here, lead me to your
door.”

Some songs are just so sad that it brings an enormous amount
of catharsis to those who listen. It gets you to different levels of pain and
sadness. It’s almost like a company to one’s misery.

“I look at the world, and I notice its turning
while my guitar gently weeps.”

Yet some brings good cheer and enthusiasm that you feel
hopeful while you chant the catchy lines. It gives you a carefree freedom from
worry, trouble or care. It’s like the sun has once again arrived!

“La-la How the life goes on…
 And if
you want some fun – Take ob-la-di ‘b-la-da!”

They don’t fail in giving the world the greatest love songs.
There are different songs about every phase of love.

“Watching her eyes, and hoping I’m always there…”

It
takes you to the familiar excitement of attraction, the inevitability of
hurting, the intricacies of being in a relationship, the complications of
infidelity, and the timelessness of love.

“And when I awoke, I was alone, this bird had
flown.
So I lit a fire, isn’t it good, Norwegian
wood?”

And some songs are philosophical, and must really be taken in.
It provides mystery and gives you the urge to reflect on the abstract message
it’s trying to convey.

“He never listens to them, he knows that
they’re the fools
They don’t like him – the fool on the hill.”

Listening
to these songs makes me wonder more about life. It makes me think about the
little things that carry deeper meanings. There’s always an urge to reflect
about the complex and the ineffable.

“All the lonely people, where do they all come
from?
All the lonely people, where do they all
belong?”

 Most
of their songs are ambiguously written that they present more than one valid
interpretation. Hence, the effect of one song varies from one person to
another.

That
is why it is always interesting to discuss their music. It’s like scrutinizing
a very delicate piece of art.

“Living is easy with eyes closed
Misunderstanding what you see.”

The
music of The Fab Four is more than just listening to something beautiful. It is
a valuable experience. It’s like being in a roller coaster of sensations and
emotions, if you just let it take you.

 It’s
like getting the most out of life…celebrating every tear and every smile and
every conflict and even the unknown, most especially, the mere realization that
we are part of all the drama –
WE ARE ALIVE.

“…and
in the END,

the Love you TAKE is equal to the Love you MADE...”

Live. And let the music play.
