– probably Russia's most famous MTB rider – has completely recovered from his injury problems of recent years and is ready to push the limits of his sport once again.
To film his new project, Fortification, he chose a unique location – an old fort in Kaliningrad, Russia’s most western city. That’s where the name for the Fortification edit came from. The Dönhoff Fort, built in the middle of the 19th Century, is part of the city’s defence system and is still in pretty good shape.

I was searching for some special place for my project. And I really wanted to find one in Russia – something unique and beautiful. It was quite hard to find it, but when I went to the Dönhoff Fort, I realised this place would fit perfectly
