F1とCARTにおいてレースエンジニア、エアロダイナミシスト（空気力学の専門家）、
デザイナーおよびテクニカルディレクターとして働き、ウィリアムズとマクラーレンに
コンストラクターズタイトルとドライバーズタイトルを、それぞれ6回もたらした。
またＦ１マシンにおいて重要な、エイアロダイナミクスの天才であり
別名「空力の鬼才」とも呼ばれている。
