水曜日、ありたんの学校で国連の日って行事がありました。
いろんな国の生徒が文化紹介やら何やらをして
つながりを深めようってのが主目的らしいです。
その中のメインイベントで、各国代表が平和のメッセージを語るって、
いかにも国連らしい企画がありました。
そりゃ～、ありたんは日本代表ですよ。（って、日本人3人しかいないし。。）
ってなわけで、ありたん浴衣を着て登校しました。
そしたら、みんなに
かっわいぃぃ～～、日本の衣装♪
と、ほめちぎられ、1日中ちやほやされてたらしいです。
そういうカルチャ～～ドレスなのね♪
もう、かわいい。。。。かわいすぎるぅぅぅ。。。
サンダルなんか、ムッチャかわいいじゃん♪
そういう小さいのをチョコンと履くのが日本なのね♪
。。。。。。。って言われたらしいです。。
違うって、違うから。。。。。
ありたんの足がでかすぎるだけだっての。。

そんな誤解を振りまいているありたんですが
平和のメッセージは誤解なくちゃんと語ったようです。
そりゃ～日本代表ですもの。。
日本しか語れない平和のメッセージ。。。
世界でただ一つしかない原爆被災国として。。。
ありたんね、この夏日本で広島・長崎の原爆関連ドキュメンタリーを
真剣に見てたようです。
その中で心打たれた内容を自分なりにまとめた上で、
しっかりと平和のメッセージを訴える内容に仕上がってました。
たった２分だけど、内容の濃いメッセージ。。
うん、悪くないね、ありたん♪

＜スピーチの原稿＞
Good Morning everyone. It's UNDAY.
It's all about unity and I have something to say.
I would love it if all attention is paid.
Because Japan, we really know haw world peace can pay.
It is a country that has been seriously affected by atomic rays.
And its effects have gone on for over 65years, how much more days.
It was just one drop. The whole place went grey.
No cars, no buildings, no nature, all was in disarray.
The few survivors had no place to stay.
All they had left to do was to lie there and pray.
I have seen several remakes of that day.
It was a dreadful sight.
The people looked like they were thrown in acid.
Just imagine how they must have felt.
Thirst killed them.
Those that luckily found water drank it,
not knowing that was going to literally burn their pipes.
Basically whether they managed to survive or not,
they wouldn't escape a horrible life to resulting to a terrible death.
It is something that should never happen again. No Way!
Just for the sake of a few people who just can't live if not their way,
so many innocent lives are taken away.
Doesn't it sound terrible when its put this way?
So I repeat war is something that must never happen, No Way!!
And I stand against the use of nuclear weapons.
The least each one of us can do, is to keep peace in our hearts always.
And that's something we can start Today.
Across Many Nations, with One Voice.
Peace for the whole world from now all the way.
