洋楽といえば、私が最も親しんだのは高校へ入学してからの昭和56（'81）年～です。この頃は『ベストヒットＵＳＡ』が始まり、ＭＴＶも開始され、プロモーション・ビデオがクローズ・アップされた時期ですネ。いわゆる「産業ロック」の時代で、「ブリティッシュ・インヴェイジョン」のムーヴメントがありました。また、'60年代から活躍していた方々が再び脚光を浴びた時代としても特筆されます。
