Working from home has a number of side consequences, one of which is the increasing need for electrical energy. You have to be smart in finding ways to save electricity.

1. Take advantage of energy saving features
Now, most gadgets and electronic devices such as computers, laptops, cellphones or air conditioners have smart saver or energy saving features.

2. Use natural light
If your work space doesn't get enough sunlight from morning to evening, move your work place to another room in the house that allows enough light.
Not only is it a way to save electricity, research says natural light will improve your mood. As a result, productivity also increases.

3. Optimize air circulation
Choose a room in the house with windows so that air circulation is smooth so you don't need to turn on the air conditioning. Even better if there is cross ventilation which allows better air exchange.
Apart from saving electricity, good air exchange will reduce humidity which causes mold to grow and clean chemicals that accumulate in the house.
