伊藤静さんお誕生日おめでとうございます!

Itou Shizuka, happy birthday!

In this special occasion I’m making my personal top 10 list of Hinagiku songs.

日本語がまだ上手くないので英語で書いています。

10. NOTICE

First song on the list. I find this song rather weird, or the more fitting word would be, unique. It’s kind of mellow, it’s kind of upbeat, I feel uneasy listening to it, I feel comfortable listening to it. Unique.

9. Kimi ni “Suki” to Ietara

Emotional! And Shizuka did an amazing performance to convey the emotions. Simple, powerful, and well done.

8. Omoi Tachi Gataku, Hatsukoi Nari Gatashi

I like Shizuka’s performance in this one! Powerful and high-pitched voice but also very easy on the ears. I think on one part of the chorus Shizuka used her falsetto voice, which still sounds powerful and hardly distinguishable. It shows how amazingly wide her vocal range is.

7. Honjitsu, Mankai Watashi Iro!

Of course this one has to be on the list. Very catchy, easy flowing song. It might be lower than people would expect, but that’s only because there are so many good Hinagiku songs.

6. Spring has come!!

The first track of the HiNA2 album. Very energetic and catchy, and I have to say I really like how high-pitched Shizuka is in this one while still sounding natural, it’s mind-blowing.

5. Daikirai wa Koi no Hajimari

Very calming, I like to listen to this (and the rest of the top 5) to help me get to sleep at night. Shizuka’s voice is rather breathy in this one and I find that comforting.

4. Ashita no Watashi

Probably the most peaceful Hinagiku song, the music is rather quiet, very soft and calming. (and Shizuka’s voice too…)

3. Tiny Star

Another peaceful song, but with more energetic chorus. Very good song for a lullaby. I really like the lalala outro.

2. Steppin’

Another first track of an album, this time of HiNA. The music is rich in this one, and because of this, it’s a good song to fall asleep to despite being an energetic song because you can just drown into the loudness of the music. I believe Shizuka used her falsetto voice in one part of the chorus too.

1. Heart of Flower

The number one that I think not many would expect. It’s such an underrated song. The music is rich, the voice is soft, the Power of Flower chorus into the bridge is ingenious. This is my most used lullaby song, no 3 days pass without me listening to this song to fall asleep.
