The below picture is old stamps I have been collecting.
My friend’s elementary school son collected used stamps
and donated them.
So, I had been collecting them to help him,
but I had not had a chance to visit my friend’s house recently,
so they had piled up.
The Pakistani boy came home from school with a printout last week.
It was a request to donate any miswritten government postcards
and used stamps to build a welfare facility for the blind.
I will let him bring these stamps.
I am glad I kept the used stamps.

使用済みの切手を集めて、寄付していました。
それで、私も彼に協力するために集めていましたが、
この頃、友人の家に行く機会がなく、
たまったままになっていました。
先週、パキスタン少年が学校から、
お知らせを、持って帰って来ました。
盲人福祉施設を建設するために、
書き損じの官製はがきや、使用済みの切手があったら、
寄付してくださいというものでした。
私は、これらの切手を彼に持たせようと思います。
使用済みの切手を取っておいて、よかったです。
