人は生まれながらにして不平等です。これが現実です。 貧しい家庭に生まれたり、知識レベルの低い乱暴な親の元に生まれたり、そして、生まれながらにして障害者であったり、不平等を上げれば切りがありません。福沢諭吉翁の”天は人の上に人を造らず、人の下に人を造らず”は本質であり、現実ではありません。本質は、現実に惑わされ、隠されてしまいます。
全日本剣道連盟居合道範士八段と聞けば、誰もが立派な人と思います。しかし、範士八段の昇段試験前に審査員に大金を配る慣習があることが白日のもとに曝されました。範士八段の称号も剣の技、人格でなく金の力であった。この現実があります。本当に武の道を究め、人格を磨いた人であれば、そのようなことはしません。日常的に目にする称号、家柄などというなものは、人の本質を見えにくくします。しかし、物事の本質を見極め、知ることこそが人生を豊かにします。
お釈迦様の言葉です。
”天上天下唯我独尊 ： あなたは、どのような境遇に生まれようとも、世界でたった1人のあなたであり、とても貴重で尊い”。どのような境遇に生まれようとも、あなたには少しも責任はありません。これから、どのように生きるかがあなたの責任です。気高くあれ。
People are born unequal. This is reality. There is no limit of examples of inequality such as you are born in a poor family, born to a violent parent with a low level of knowledge, or you are born with a disability. A great teacher, Mr Fukuzawa Yukichi's "Heaven does not create people above people, and does not create people below people" is not a reality, but a true nature. The true nature is confused by reality and obscured by reality.
When you hear the All Japan Kendo Federation Iaido Hanshi 8th Dan, everyone thinks the person is a great person. However, it was known to public that there was a custom of giving out a large amount of money to the judges before the promotion test of Hanshi 8th Dan. The title of Hanshi 8th dan was not from the skill of the sword, the personality but the power of money. This is reality. If you really pursued the martial arts and refined your personality, you wouldn't do that, but you wouldn't be able to earn the title of Hanshi 8th dan. Things like titles you see in the real world obscure the true nature of a person. However, identifying the true nature enriches life.

"Tenjo Tenge Yuigadokuson: No matter what circumstances you are born in, you are only one in the world, and you are very precious and respected." No matter what the circumstances you are born in, you are not responsible at all. It is your responsibility how you live from now on.
