酒に溺れ、女に溺れた若侍は、流祖飯篠長威斎家直先生の道場に戻って稽古を再開することはありませんでした。 長老の弟子の一人が、また、長威斎先生のところに来て、若侍を真っ当な人間に戻すために免許を授けるように懇願しました。 長威斎先生も何かと戦っているような苦痛に満ちた表情を浮かべたようです。 弟子が目の前で人の道に外れ、香取神道流の教えから遠ざかることがとても辛かったようです。 長威斎先生は、長老の弟子に”若侍を信じ、今は我慢が肝心”とおっしゃり、唇をかみしめたようです。
一方、酒に溺れ、女に溺れた若侍の母親がさすがに耐えきれずに、”他人様が出世したからと言って、それを妬み、酒に溺れ、女に溺れるとは情けないことだ。 悔しさを堪え、それをばねにして稽古に励め”、と息子に忠告したようです。 しかし、その若侍は、その夜も遊郭に消えたようです。
The worrier, who spent everynight for prostitutes and a lot of Sake, never came back to the founder for the practice. One of elderly followers came back to the founder again and asked him again to give him the certification in order for him to get back to the founder. The founder expressed a pain in his face. He felt so sorry that one of his followers were leaving from him and spending everyday for evil things. The founder said to the elderly follower, "be patient now, while believing in him".
Oneday, the mother said to the worrier without being patient, "it is very shame to see my son who spend everynight for a prostitute and a lot of Sake for the jealousy. You should practice more and more while managing the jealousy". The son was gone to a prostitute house at the night again.
