洋楽CDの流通は遅くても、洋画の公開は日本より多少は早いタイランドで「The Departed」 を鑑賞。
ホンコン映画のハリウッド版。
ディカプとモンの共演にニコルソン、という濃厚にして農耕なキャスティングに加えて、ストーンズ2曲。
「ギミー・シェルター」と「レット・イット・ルース」。
ストーンズ楽曲が多用されていた、デニーロのストーカー映画「The Fun」はサントラ盤ではストーンズ曲は割愛されていた記憶がある。
「The Departed」のサントラ盤には「レット・イット・ルース」は収録されているものの、「シェルター」がそうでないのは、おそらく、版権ガッチリのアブコがサントラ収録を却下した可能性もありますね。
