最近は段々涼しくなってきており、食欲が増してきてくる頃ではないでしょうか？
なので、今日は食べ物のことについてお話したいと思います！
アメリカと言えば、色んな人種の人々が集まっている場所です。
そのため、アメリカでは色々な国の食べ物が食べられます。
そこで、最近ロスアンゼルスで次々とできているのがアジアンフュージョンフゥードです。
FUSIONの意味は融合という意味で、FUSION FOODとは二カ国の食べ物が
一つの食べ物に融合していることです。
今日はアメリカでしか食べられないこの
ASIAN FUSION FOODをロスアンゼルスにあるいくつかの ASIAN FUSION RESTAURANTをご紹介いたします！
Seoulmate
こちらは韓国とメキシカンのFUSION FOODのレストランです。
ここは私が通っている大学の近くにあり、学生にとても人気です。
左にあるのが韓国料理で定番のプルコギをメキシカン料理の定番のブリトー風に作ったものです。
中にはご飯、プロコギ、キムチ、卵が入っており、メキシカン料理に欠かせないコリアンダーと一緒に
トルティーヤにラップされております。
プルコギ、キムチ、トルティーヤが意外とマッチして、コリアンダーの臭みがとても合いました！
そして右側は
カルビバーガーです。カルビ、キムチ、チーズ、ハンバーグ、トマト、レタスとまた変わった、
ボリューム満タンのハンバーガーになっています！
このカルビがやわらかっくてパンにもすごく合いました。
男性の方に人気があるそうです！
RA Sushi Bar and Restaurant
こちらはアメリカと日本のFUSION FOODのお寿司・日本食レストランです。
左側の写真のレンコンが刺さっている料理は一応「お寿司」と言われていますが、
日本でこんなお寿司、見たことありますか
ものすごく美味しかったのですが、ご飯が入っているのか分からないくらいソースが掛かっていて、
とてもお寿司とは言えないお寿司でした。
このレストランで一番気に入ったのがスパイシー味噌汁でした。
全然味噌が入ってる気配はありませんでしたが、土鍋でよそられ、シーフード、椎茸、野菜が入っていました。
日本人が知る味噌汁ではなかったですが、辛さとシーフードがとても美味しかったです。(●´ω｀●)
Sushi Boy
こちらは私も以前働いていた、日本にもある小僧寿しです。
日本では食べられない巻き寿司がたくさんあります。
左側のが FIRE ROLLと言い、ネギトロに辛いソースを混ぜ、きゅうりと一緒に巻かれたお寿司ですが、
さらにその上にマグロがのっていて、またさらに辛いソースが掛かっています。

まさに
FIRE ROLLです。右は TEMPURA CALIFORNIA ROLL。
カリフォルニアロールとは、カニカマ、きゅうり、アボガド、マヨネーズが入っていて、
ご飯を外に巻いてある巻き寿司です。
それを、なんと、天ぷら生地に付け、揚げた物です。
外はカリカリ、中はもちもちになり、とっても美味しいです！
このように、アメリカでしか食べられないお料理が沢山あります！
また面白いFOODSご紹介しますね！

The weather is finally cooling down!
Which means...our appetite is is going up!
Therefore, today, I would like to talk about...FOOD!!
America is a place where people from all over the world are gathered.
That means, there is food from all over the world!
What's becoming more and more popular these days is FUSION FOOD.
FUSION means "melting" of two or more things and
FUSION FOOD is when two or more foods from two different culture are "melted" together.
So today, I would like to introduce you to some of this so called
FUSION FOOD that we have, here in the Los Angeles area!!
Seoulmate
Here we have mexican and korean fusion food.
This restaurant is right by my university
and it is very popular amongst students!
Here on the left is the popular Korean dish, BULGOGI
in the form of the popular Mexican dish, the BURRITO.
Inside has bulgogi, Kimchi, egg, with some cilantro,
which is a must have for Mexican food, all wrapped in a warm tortilla.
The bulgogi, kimchi and tortilla combination along with the kick of
the cilanto went very well together!
The right is the
Kalbi BurgerInside has Kalbi beef, kimchi, cheese, hamburger, tomato and lettus,
all in between two buns.
The Kalbi beef is so soft and it matched well with the bun!
It is apparently very popular amongst the boys since it's so filling!
RA Sushi Bar and Restaurant
This is a Japanese and American FUSION restaurant.
The dish on the left that has the lotus root sticking through
is actually called sushi.
Has anyone seen this type of sushi in Japan??
It was delicious but it had so much sauce that I can barely tell if
there is rice inside and it was definitely a different kind of sushi.
My favorite here was the spicy miso soup.
I couldn't tell if there was any miso inside but it was served in a
steel hot pot with seafood, shiitake mushrooms, and vedgetables.
It was definitely not the kind of miso soup I know of but it was so full of flavor and YUM

Sushi Boy
This is the Sushi Boy from Japan and it is also the place I used to work at!
This place has sushi rolls that you can't have in Japan.
The left is called FIRE ROLL and it has crush tuna mixed with
spicy sauce wrapped with cucumber.
On top of that has even more tuna and even more spicy sauce on top.(＠￣Д￣＠；)
It is called the
FIRE ROLLfor a reason. The right is the TEMPURA CALIFORNIA ROLL。
The regular California roll has imitation crab meat, cucumbers,
avocado, and mayo, which is wrapped with the rice on the outside.
This is then dipped in tempura batter and is fried
The outer is crispy and inside has a mochi texture and it is so good!
As such, America has so much food from different cultures.
I would like to continue introducing interesting foods!
