“KHAR KHORIN-TSENHER-HUSTAI NURUU” 7 Nights/ 8 Days
Day01. Arrive in
Day02. Early in the morning drive to Khar-khorin /380km/. On the way have box
kunch. Arrive at Khar-khorin and transfer to gers at camp. Overnight stay in
gers at camp.
Day03. After breakfast visit to Erdene Zuu monastery which is Mongolian 1st
Buddhist monastery. See the turtle stone. Drive to Tsenher hot spring /110km/
arrive at camp. And free time around the forest area. Overnight stay in ger at
camp.
Day04. Drive to Taihar stone and visit to country museum in Tsetserleg town.
Drive back to Tsenher hot spring. Overnight stay in ger at camp.
Day05. Drive to Bayangobi by bus (200kms). Enroute: having lunch. No
particular sightseeing.
Arrive at Bayangobi. Tour of Sand dunes /5kms/. Bayangobi is of a unique natural contrast place combining Mongolian Gobi and Khangai landscapes. Impresses by its majestic rock mountains, sandy hills and the willow grove nearby the river “Shiluustei” and the beautiful mountain “Khognokhaan”. Visit Ovgon monastery /10kms/
Check in to tourist camp
Dinner at the camp and overnight in ger.
Day06. Drive to Hustain Nuruu preserved area where the wild horses live.
Trekking around the national park and overnight stay in ger at Hustain Nuruu.
Day07 Breakfast at camp. Drive to
Souvenir shopping in downtown (Department Store).Gala-Good bye dinner
with Folk and Dance Performance
Overnight at hotel.
