Day01. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar
, meeting with guide and transfer to hotel. City tour: visit Sukhbaatar square
and National history museum. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day02. After breakfast visit to Gandan Monastery. And drive to airport to fly
to Khatgal village, which locates on the coast of Khuvsgul
lake. Box lunch in the plane. Arrive in Khatgal after 1:30hrs flight and drive
to tourist camp on the coast of the lake. Transfer to gers and free time around
the camp are and optional tours such as horse riding, fishing and boating.
Overnight stay in gers at camp.
Day03. Early in the morning drive to
Tsaatan (Reindeer) family. To see the lifestyle of taiga forest people. Visit
their tepee. On the way back to the camp visit to yak breeding family. Taste
yak milk products. In the evening free time in the picturesque places.
Overnight stay in gers at camp.
Day04. Drive to local airport to fly
back to Ulaanbaatar.
After arrival, visit to Natural history museum, which displays findings related
to dinosaurs excavations. After the museum shopping. Dinner at local restaurant
with Mongolian Traditional performance. Overnight at hotel.
Day05 Drive to Dugana khad
tourist resort. The resort was open in 2000 as a single resort to the north of Ulaanbaatar, located in
110kms, in a picturesque mountain valley covered by pine trees and rocks
lasting for 9kms, away from tourist tracks. A huge rock called “Dugana” (Temple), 70mrs high,
adorns the resort from the right side. Accommodation in Mongolian traditional dwelling-Ger. The resort offers optional
activities such as archery shooting, horse riding, trekking and Mongolian
traditional games. Rest at resort and overnight.
Day06 Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Visit horse
breeding family on the way. Visit Bogdo khaan palace museum, Zaisan hill and
shopping. Overnight at hotel.
Day07 Departure.
