Day01 Arrive
in
Dinner at Hotel restaurant (Or
local restaurant). And overnight at hotel.
Day02 Breakfast
at hotel.
Short city tour: visit
Sukhbaatar. Taking picture at the square.
Leave the square and go to
Gandan monastery.
Drive to
Bayangobi by bus (Western 280kms). Enroute: having lunch. No particular
sightseeing.
Box lunch on the
way
Arrive at Bayangobi. Tour of
Sand dunes /5kms/. Bayangobi is of a unique natural contrast place combining
Mongolian Gobi and Khangai landscapes. Impresses by its majestic rock
mountains, sandy hills and the willow grove nearby the river “Shiluustei” and
the beautiful mountain “Khognokhaan”. Visit Ovgon monastery /10kms
Check in to tourist camp
Dinner at the camp and overnight in ger.
Day03 Breakfast
at camp. Drive further to Kharkhorin /80kms, 2hrs/.
Kharkhorin
city tour: visit Erdene-Zuu monastery. Kharkhorin is located nearby Orkhon
river, one of biggest and scenery rivers of
Visit Stone
Turtles outside the monastery.
Lunch at tourist
camp.
Visit horse
breeding family on the way back to Kharkhorin, short experience of horse riding
and
try milk products.
Back to the camp. Dinner and
overnight in ger.
Day04 Breakfast.
Drive to Orkhon river picnic lunch. Drive back to Bayangobi via Kharkhorin.
Campfire with a
Mongolian delicacy Khorkhog dinner. And overnight at camp.
Day05 Breakfast
at camp.
Drive to
Souvenir
shopping in downtown (Department Store).
Gala-Good bye
dinner with Folk and Dance Performance
Overnight at hotel.
Day06 Breakfast
Departure.
