July 1985 - July 1986 in Fargo

33年振りにアメリカを訪れ、昨日帰って来た

1985年７月、17歳の私は生まれて初めて飛行機に乗り

初めての海外、アメリカに行った

ノースダコタ州のファーゴという町での高校生活を終え、翌86年７月

日本に戻って来た

映画「ファーゴ」は、この時期のファーゴ近辺を舞台にしている

ファーゴでお世話になった私のホストファミリーが今シカゴに住んでいて

会って来た

血は繋がっていないが、本当に家族だという思いがした

I visited US last ten days and came back yesterday.  It's been 33 years after I first visited

In July 1985, at the age of 17, I went to Fargo, North Dakota

That was even my first time got on the airplane

After having spent a year as a high school student, came back to Japan

The film "Fargo" set around Fargo in those days the late 80's

My host family moved and now live in Chicago

I met them during this visit and it was a delightful moment. I truly felt they were my family
