What is the Art?
Our show 'Harajuku Girls" finished last Saturday.
私達の公演「ハラジュクガールズ」は先週の土曜日に終わった。
（なんで急に直訳調になるんだろう？）
I said goodbye to my two roles which I played. But I know they will keep alive somewhere deep inside of me.
私が演じた二役とはおわかれした（結構この作業が辛くもあり、面白くもある。）でも、私の中のどこかで生き続けるんだなあ。
Adrian Samson, who worked with in his cinematographic photo session two years ago, took me to the dinner a day after we finished our show and introduced me Nasan, an artist based in Berlin. I wonder what kind of artist he is. He looks a little like Al Pachino but he's not an actor. He is not a photographer like Adrian.
二年前に映画的な写真シリーズの撮影で知り合ったエイドリアン（彼とは昨年末に東京で再開した）が、楽日の翌日にディナーに誘ってくれて、ネイサンというアーティストを紹介してくれました。ネイサンはベルリン在住で、アルパチーノにちょっと似てるけど、役者ではなく、エイドリアンのような写真家でもありません。「アーティスト」って何？と思った。
We met together again 3days later at the opening ceremony of the exhibition of Nasan's art work. His work stirred up my imagination. And I thought "does a bird have an imagination?" , "does a dog have an imagination?." That may be some phrase from a song or a book. Perhaps they do have but I only know human has an imagination.
その３日後に、ネイサンの作品の展示会のオープニングで再開した。
そこで見た彼の作品は、私の想像力をかき立てました。何かの歌か本のフレーズだと思いますが、「鳥には想像力はあるのかな？」「犬には想像力があるのかな？」と思いました。多分あるよね。でも、私が知ってるのは、人間には想像力があるということだけ。
His work is simple but it scratched something of me. I really loved it.
彼の作品はシンプルですが、私の何かをひっかきました。ほんとに好き。（また直訳）
The drama school I went two years ago here is called "academy of dramatic art." So acting is supposed to be "dramatic art" in their terms.
二年前に、ロンドンで通った演劇学校は、「演劇的芸術の学院」と呼ばれています。彼らの用語では、演技は「演劇的芸術」なんですよね。
So what is the art?
