英単語はレベルが高いが、英文は簡単。
日本人なら良く知っている歴史が背景知識としてあれば、英単語を知らなくても、読み進めることができる。

先ごろの調査では、中国が嫌いな日本人は７０％を超えるらしいが、戦争を体験した世代の中国観というのは、引用文にあるように、戦争で迷惑かけたのに、戦争が終わると報復もせずに日本兵を帰してくれたという感謝の気持ちが多分にあったのだろう。
それに比べてロシアの連中は、条約は破るは、日本兵をシベリアに連れ去るは、日本人に対する陵辱の限りは、現在のぼくらの想像を超えている。
これは日本人が子々孫々伝えていかなくては行かないことであろう。ロシア人は信用するな。
