歩き疲れては夜空と陸との隙間に潜り込んで
（When I got tired to walk, I come into the gap between the night sky and the land,
草に埋もれては寝たのです
（I was held by grass and went to bed）
所構わず寝たのです
（I slept in any place)
歩き疲れては草に埋もれて寝たのです
（When I got tired to walk,I was held by grass and went to bed)
歩き疲れ寝たのですが眠れないのです
(I got tired from sleeping,but I can't sleep)
近頃は眠れない
(I can't sleep these days)
陸をひいては眠れない
(Can't sleep on the land)
夜空の下では眠れない
(Can't sleep under the night sky)
揺り起こされては眠れない
(Can't sleep when shaken)
歩き疲れては草に埋もれて寝たのです

そんな僕の生活の柄が夏向きなのでしょうか
