『FREEDOM2通信 2021/11/25 ミャンマーで仏門に入った方が来てくれたよ 編』
皆さん！！お久しぶりです。お元気ですか？
いやぁー、GWのFREEDOM2は大賑わい。
怒涛の最高に楽しかったGWでした。
GWに関してはまた後日アップさせてもらいますね。
もう昨年の話なんだけど、
ミャンマーで駐在員として
プロジェクトを運営していた方が来てくれました。
ミャンマーはすごく気にはなっていて、
行こうと思ったタイミングで、コロナやクーデターが起きてしまって
行けなくなったので、やはり行きたいときに行くべきだと思っていました。
なので、ミャンマーに居たという事なので
いろいろミャンマーのお話を聞かせていただきました。
意外とびっくりしたのは、
ミャンマーに3000人以上日本人が居るそうです。
コロナ前ですがね。
そんなにいっぱいいるんだと思って。
最近はもう近代化が進んでコンビニもあるし
日本食もあるし、何も不自由しないとおっしゃられていました。
ミャンマーの方も優しくてまじめな方が多いし
とても良いとと話されていました。
それで、ミャンマーで何か変わった事なかったですかって聞いてみると
なんと！！この方、ミャンマーで仏門に入っていました。
短い期間だったそうですが、
頭を剃り、名前ももらって、袈裟を着て、托鉢に行っていたそうです。
すごいっすね。
見知らぬ土地で、しかも、海外で、そんな事に挑戦するなんて。
本当に貴重な経験されていますね。
僕も気になったんで、機会があれば参加させてもらおうと思いました。
ちなみに、袈裟の下は何も履かないらしいです笑笑

それで、他にもいろいろ話を聞かせてもらうと
この方NPOで学生のビジネスサポートをされていたり
自分でも香川で地域を盛り上げるプロジェクトをやるために
宿を作ったりと、SDGｓのファシリエィターをやったり、と
多岐に渡って活躍している素晴らしい方でした。
そんな中、とても印象に残ったお話が
ビジネスにおいて『どんなストーリーがあるか』でした。
日本が世界との競争で戦う上でとても重要で
お客さんがいろんな選択肢がある中で選んでもらえるためには
その商品にストーリーが必要だという事です。
その商品に対する、想いや苦労や熱意が結果、その商品の深みとして現れる。
ただ、安価な製品には出せない深みをどうやって作っていくかとの事でした。
さすが、世界でプロジェクトを運営していた方だなぁと思いました。
その他にもたくさん
課題先進国日本をどうするとか、
地域を活性化させるためにはとか
お金を払ってでも聞かせていただきたい
いろんなお話を聞かせていただき
本当に学びのある素敵な時間を過ごさせていただきました。
本当、未来に向けてワクワクが止まらないそんな時間を過ごさせていただきました。
本当に来てくれてありがとうございます。
これからもFREEDOM2らしく
いつでも遊びに来れる素晴らしい場所にしないといけないと
改めて思い、心に刻みました。
本当にコロナの大変な時期だけど
来てくれてありがとうございます。
また、いつかお会いできるのを楽しみにしています。

everyone! !! Long time no see. How are you?
FREEDOM 2 of GW is really busy.
It was the most enjoyable Golden Week holidays.
Regarding GW, I will update it at a later date.
It's already last year's story
A person who was running the project as an expatriate in Myanmar came.
I was very interested in Myanmar, and when I decided to go, I couldn't go because of a COVID-19 and a coup d'etat, so I thought I should go when I wanted to.
So, he was in Myanmar, so I told him various stories about Myanmar.
What surprised me was that there are more than 3,000 Japanese people in Myanmar.
Before COVID-19. I thought there were so many.
He said that modernization has progressed recently, there are convenience stores, Japanese food, and nothing is inconvenient.
Many people in Myanmar are kind and serious, and he said that it is a very good place.
So I asked him if he had any unusual experiences in Myanmar.
What! !! This person was in Buddhism in Myanmar.
It was a short period of time, but he shaved his head, got his name, put on a kasaya, and went to Dhutanga.
It's amazing.
To challenge such a thing in a strange land and overseas.
It's a really valuable experience.
I was also curious, so I thought I would participate if I had the opportunity.
By the way, it seems that he doesn't wear anything under the Kasaya lol

So, I heard a lot of other stories, such as being a student business supporter at an NPO, and building an inn to do a project to liven up the area in Kagawa, as a facilitator of SDGs. He was a wonderful person who has been active in a wide variety of fields.
Meanwhile, a story that left a strong impression on me
It was "what kind of story is there" in business.
It is very important for Japan to compete with the world, and it means that the product needs a story in order for customers to choose from various options.
As a result, the feelings, hardships, and enthusiasm for the product appear as the depth of the product.
However, the question was how to create a depth that cannot be achieved with inexpensive products.
As expected, I thought he was the one who was running the project in the world.

To revitalize the area
Even if I paid for it, I was able to tell the various stories I heard and had a wonderful time with learning.
Really, I spent such a time that I was excited for the future.
