『FREEDOM2通信 2020/10/31 中東でVIPとして招待されたすごい博士が来てくれた編』
いやぁ～。本当にお久しぶりです。
FREEDOM2は冬はオフシーズンで、しかも大都市圏に緊急事態宣言があり
静かに過ごしていましたよ。
それで、いつもなら冬の間に今年の予約が入るのですが
今年は全く予約がなく、やっぱりコロナウィルスの影響だなぁ。
仕方がないなぁ～っと思っていました。
しかし、本日、お客さんから一本の電話があり
『5月の予約をしたいのですが、予約が出来ないみたいのですが・・・』
『えっ、出来ないですか！！！確認しますね』
それで、慌てて確認すると、2021年4月以降の在庫補充がされておらず
ずっと、予約不可になっていました(笑)
本当に、本当にすいません。
いやぁ～、問い合わせをしてくれたお客さんに感謝です。
その間に、予約出来なかった皆さんも本当にすいません。
予約できるようにしたら、早速、8月の予約が来て
本当に嬉しかったです。
もう、予約が出来るようになっているので、

それで、去年の秋の話になりますが
そんな中、すごい博士がFREEDOM2に来てくれました！！
いやぁ～。本当に凄い！！
この方、某大学の教授の方だったんですけど
過去に新薬の開発とかされていて、その薬が販売されているそうです。
めっちゃ論文も出されていて。
凄いっすよね。
その方がこんなところ(笑)になぜ、来てくれたかというと
昔はインターコンチネンタルホテルとか有名ホテルに泊ることに
ステータスを感じていて、それが当たり前だったそうです。
しかし、一度、世界一周をするようになってから
ゲストハウスの良さに気が付いたと話されていました。
ホテルでは絶対交流出来ない方と話せる機会があると。
それがやはり楽しいんだと。
もちろん、安いし気軽だしと。
そして、現地の方やいろんな旅人とも話せるし
情報は手に入るし、最強だと。
本当にそうなんすよね。
現に僕が普通に生きていたら
こんな方にお話を聞かせていただくには
講演会に行かないと聞けませんからね。
講演会行ってもこんなにざっくばらんには話せないか。
本当に楽しい時間でした。
やっぱり、博士の体験、経験談は普通じゃないから
聞いてて本当におもしろくあっという間に時間が過ぎていました。
世界一周の話や、新薬開発の話、日本とアメリカの話や
本当に貴重な時間を過ごさせていただきました。
もちろん、コロナの話や
再生医療やこれからの医療の話など。
特に中東でVIPとして招待された時のお話が面白かったな。
その国の王子が特典で何でも優遇してくれたそうです。
なんか現実感のない話ですが
今、目の前の方が体験した話を話してくれているという
不思議なお話がたくさん聞かせていただきました。
これからもFREEDOM2らしく
いつでも遊びに来れる素晴らしい場所にしないといけないと
改めて思い、心に刻みました。
本当にコロナの大変な時期だけど
来てくれてありがとうございます。
また、いつかお会いできるのを楽しみにしています。

This person was a professor at a certain university. It has been said that a new drug has been developed in the past, and that drug is on sale.
A lot of papers have been published. It's amazing.
The reason why he came to such a place (laughs) is that he used to feel the status of staying at an Intercontinental hotel or a famous hotel, and that was the norm.
However, it was said that once he started to go around the world, he realized the goodness of the guest house.
There is an opportunity to talk to people who can never interact at the hotel.
It's still fun. Of course, it's cheap and easy.
And I can talk with local people and various travelers, I can get information, and it is the strongest.

It was a really fun time.
