『FREEDOM2通信 2020/03/15 社会地域学部編』
皆さん、お元気ですか？
いうもの世間はコロナウィルスで大変なことになっていますね。
先日、能登では少し大きな地震もあり、少しそわそわした毎日ですね。
幸いFREEDOM2での被害はなく、日常を保っております。
FREEDOM2ゲストハウスはワイワイなイメージがあると思いますが、
意外と静かな日が多いんですよ。(もちろん賑やかな日もありますが)
皆さんルールを守って、お互い気遣ってくださる方が多いです。
コロナウィルスの影響で、先週はキャンセル続きだったのですが
今週からは少し多くなってきました。
そんな中、今日は山陰地方の大学からFREEDOM2に遊びに来てくれました。
彼らは海外に行く予定だったのが、入国拒否など対応で
予定を変更してこちらに遊びに来てくれたそうです。
みんな海外に行ったことがあって
海外の旅の話なんか聞かせていただきました。
やっぱり10人十色で旅の話はとてもおもしろいですね。
それで、彼らの共通のものが大学の社会地域学部です。
中卒の僕には『社会地域学部』が何なのか良くわからず、教えてもらいました。
既存の学問体系から地域を考えるのに必要なものを再構成し、
地域に存在するさまざまな課題の解決をめざす「地域学」の体系を学問的に確立し、
その普及を推進するため、さまざまな活動を行っているそうです。
その中の一人がおばちゃんの島に住んで
おばあちゃんの習慣な事柄から
生きていく術や地域の問題を解決していくという話を聞かせていただきました。
すごくいい取り組みをされているなぁっと感じて
思わずこの記事を書いております。
若者がだらしないと言われるこの時代に
こうやって熱心に社会問題に取り組んでいる姿に
凄く感心しました。
あまり頑張りすぎて腸炎や血便が出たらしいです(笑)
こうやって知らない所で
頑張っている人がいるんだなぁっと思いました。
頑張っている人は頑張っていると言わない。
昔の人は良く言ったもんですね。
僕も見習わないとですね。
本当に来てくれてありがとう！！

The public is supposed to be terrible with coronaviruses.

Cancellation last week due to coronavirus
It has been a bit more this week.
Meanwhile, I came to FREEDOM2 today from a university in the San'in region.
They said they had planned to go abroad, but they changed their schedule and came here to respond to refusal.
They have been abroad, and they told me about traveling abroad.
After all, the story of traveling is very interesting.
So their common thing is the College of Social and Regional Studies.
I didn't understand what a "Social and Regional Studies" was because I was a junior graduate and was taught.
Reconstruct what is needed to think about the region from the existing academic system,
He says that he is engaged in various activities to establish a system of "Regional Studies" that aims to solve various issues that exist in the region, and to promote its use.
One of them lives on my aunt's island
