ジョージハリソンの死後約１年後に発売されたアルバム「BrainWashed」のなかの最大の問題作のBrainwashedの歌詞について書きたいと思います。
ジョージの死んだ時は、まだこのアルバムは完成途上だったそうですが、親友であるELOのジェフリンと息子のダニー、ドラマーのジムケルトナーによって完成されたそうです。
ボーカルは多分、もう２，３回とり直しあるいはオーバーダブしたかったのでは？と思います。
歌詞は、未だかつてなく過激です。死期を予感して思っていたことを書きつづった感じです。
これには私も激しく同意です。
