Wow, I haven't updated this thing in so long...

I was prompted to use my ameba again because it seemed like the only way to "contact" Shin from ViViD and my friend Rena really wants to get me back into it while she's immersed as well haha

Anyway, I'll have to write a proper post some other time, It's 1am, I haven't showered, and I have work tomorrow 。(;°皿°)
Well, I haven't done so well keeping up with the blogging, but now that I'm getting settled I'm resolved to get back into it. Please bear with me!

As a small update, I am living here in Toyama, Japan. It's a prefecture on the Sea of Japan, so on the northern/western side of Honshu. I live in Fuchumachi, which is about 20 mins from Central Toyama. Toyama has a population somewhere around 400,000 people...and they call this a small town XD It's pretty nice to me! There are some things that seem "small town"-ish, but overall, I feel pretty comfortable here. There are no signs of trouble here from the earthquake/tsunami or radiation. Life is carrying on as normal it seems and there are no shortages of food or drinks. I don't even feel any of the earthquakes, tremor, or aftershocks they are experiencing in Tokyo and elsewhere.

I really like teaching so far. The children are wonderful and I like the teachers. I've never met a group of more dedicated and awesome people. Teachers here are just on another level. Granted, there are some individuals back in America who were amazing teachers, but they were sadly, few and far between. Here, they all have this passion and devotion I have never seen. It's remarkable to watch them and to work with them. And the kids, they are just adorable. I'll be sure to go into more detail later, but so far I'm really enjoying my work.

I suppose that's about it for now. This blog is probably last on my list in terms of importance. SORRY! but no one reads this one since it's a Japanese blog and I don't even write in Japanese. I hope to change that though. As I start working on my Japanese, I want to update this one more frequently with Japanese updates. But until then...ヽ(;´Д`)ノ
今日本にいます! 本当に楽しかった。日本語を練習します!

そして、3月で先生に成ります ≧(´▽`)≦

I'm so excited I got the job with Interac! I hope that it goes well, though. After being here, I think I'm more excited but also more nervous about moving here...Either way, it will be a growing experience for me. But I really like Japan. I'm a bit discouraged about how much more I have to learn with the language, but I hope I can get a lot better quickly. I've already learned some things just visiting here for a few weeks.

Anyway, it's quite late, so I'm going to go to bed now. Wanted to quickly update since I was updating my other blogs.
