A）今、一番興味がある事は何ですか？
ヤエル）私の子供に関する事と、コスメ·香水など美容に関する事です。
A）よく旅をされているとの事ですが、どの国が一番お好きですか？
ヤエル）イスラエル！
A）では、イスラエルで絶対行くべき！な場所を３カ所挙げるとしたら？出来たら現地の人しか知らない場所がいいです：）
ヤエル）難しい質問ですね！沢山あるので・・・。
- Rotschild 12 ：テルアビブで最も美しい大通りにテラスを構えたカフェ＆レストラン/バーで、朝食や簡単なランチが出来ます。夜にはライブ音楽が流れるので、一杯ひっかけに・・って場所です。
- ラファエル：海が見える景色が最高のレストランで、インテリアデザインも最高に素敵！最高の地中海料理が楽しめるレストランです。
- ルシファー：ちょっと暗くて雰囲気のあるスモーキーな感じのバー。かかっている音楽はいつも最高！
A）一番好きなデザイナーは？
ヤエル）Dries Van NotenとAlexander Wang。
A）インスピレーション源を教えてください。
ヤエル）建築：フォスター＆パートナーズ、サンティアゴ·カラトラバ、安藤忠雄
工業デザイン：パトリシア·ウルキオラ/ブルレック兄弟/ピエロ·リッソーニ/ロンギラッド/ロン·アラッド
アートや音楽。
数多くの旅行から発見する新しい場所や、どこに行っても必ずチェックする建築、それから美術館やギャラリーからインスピレーションを得ますね…
A）YAEL SALOMONというブランドの理想的なモデルは誰ですか？
ヤエル）ケイト·モス、ケイト·ブランシェ、メアリーケイト＆アシュレー·オルセンを組み合わせたような人じゃないかな。
A）じつは、読者からの質問もあって・・・。「一番インスパイアされた出来事を教えて下さい。」
ヤエル）私の叔父の存在ですね。香水のプロデューサーでもある叔父のJacques Konckierなんですが、実は・・・何年も前ですが、バレンシアガがファッション業界から忘れ去らようとしていた時に叔父がバレンシアガを買収したんです。彼は、ブランドを再構成して、ブランドに新しいエネルギーとビジネスチャンスを与え、数年後に、今の持ち会社であるKeringに売りました。あのFrancois Pinaudが所有している多国籍企業です。
A）読者からもう一つ質問！「一番尊敬している人は？」
ヤエル）そうですね・・１から自分たちのブランドを構築し、未だに大きく活躍しているような、インスパイアリングで、その分野でのリーダー的存在であり続けている人ですね。例えば、ドリスヴァンノッテン、ダナキャラン、ラルフローレン、オスカー・デ・ラ・レンタ、アレキサンダーワンとか。

A)what are your interests in general?
Yael) Beauty in general, in any form and my children.
A)you’ve been traveling to so many places, but which country is your favorite?
Yael) Israel!
A)Can you give me 3 best places in Israel where we should go (the places where only native people know)?
Yael) Difficult cause there are many :
- Rotschild 12 : cafe & restaurant / bar for breakfast on the terrace, quick lunch or drinks with live music in the evening, on the most beautiful avenue in Tel-Aviv
- Rafael : very best restaurant with the greatest inspired mediterranean food with the sea view and beautiful slick interior design.
- Lucifer : dark small smokey bar with great music.
A)who is your favorite designer?
Yael) Dries Van Noten and Alexander Wang.
A)Tell me about your inspiration sources, and how you get them.
Yael) Architecture : Foster & Partners, Santiago Calatrava, Tadao Ando
Industrial design : Patricia Urquiola / Bouroullec Brothers / Piero Lissoni / Ron Gilad / Ron Arad
Art and music.
I get these inspiration from traveling a lot, discovering new places, having the privilege of seeing architectural achievements everywhere, visiting a lot of museums and galleries, etc…
A)who is your ideal model for your brand?
Yael) I guess she would have to be a combination between Kate Moss / Kate Blanchet / Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen.
A)This is the question from our reader. Can you tell us one story of which you had the biggest impact regarding fashion business (person you met, things you saw..etc)
Yael) My uncle, Jacques Konckier, who is a perfume producer, bought years ago Balenciaga when it was a remoted forgotten fashion company. He rebuilt it, gave it some new energy and business opportunities and made an exit by selling it a few years after to Kering, the multinational company owned by Francois Pinaud.
A)One more question from our readers : who do you respect the most?
Yael) I guess the people I respect the most in the fashion business are those who built their brand from scratch and are still motivated, inspiring and leaders in their field : Dries Van Noten, Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta, Alexander Wang.
