島根県にある出雲大社を紹介!!
今やパワースポットとして超有名な出雲大社。
親戚の家が近くという事もあり、お正月やお盆のお休みには必ずといっていいほど参拝しているが、
今年は異例だった。。
近頃のパワースポットブームでメディアに取り上げられ、周りの友達も数多く訪れているほどの人気ぶり。
そんな出雲大社は【二拝四拍手一拝（2回頭をさげて4回手をたたき、
お祈りをした後もう1度頭をさげる）】というのが決まりで、
日本で旧暦の神無月、いわゆる10月は、「神々が出雲大社に集まり､各国には神がいなくなる月」とされていて、島根出身の母から、地元では【神在月（かみありづき）】と呼ばれていると聞かされたときは、納得したのと同時に、衝撃を受けたことをよく覚えている。
2008年には、「仮殿遷座祭」といって、本殿から仮殿へ神様がお引越しされ、
本殿の屋根等の大リフォームが開始された。
通常、お正月には本殿がオープンになり、本殿の中に入ってお参りが出来るのだが、
ここ数年はずっと工事をしていたので、お正月でも本殿には入れない状態になっていた。
しかし、2013年5月、改修が完了し神様は本殿へ戻ることに。
これを【平成の大遷宮】といい、約5年ぶりの本殿公開ともあって
すごい人、人、人!!!であった。
本殿への入り口は長蛇の列だったが、
久しぶりに訪れた本殿では心が洗われた気持ちになった。
いつもより一層、パワーを頂けた気分になれた。
出雲大社にある、5トンの日本一の大しめ縄も圧巻。
この機会に是非、1度は訪れてみて欲しい。

I’d like to introduce the Izumo Taisha today.
The Izumo Taisha Shrine has been super famous as a power spot, and it’s located in Shimane Prefecture.
Personally, I always visit there on Bon Festival and New Year, but this year was exceptionally crowded with the large number of people.
This shrine has been picked up in the media very often these days because of the huge ‘power spot boom’ in Japan.
There is a rule in Izumo Taisha, so you need to bow twice, clap your hand 4 times, then pray, and bow once again to worship the gods.
In October, called ‘Kannazuki’ in classic Japanese, it has been said that “All gods gather at Izumo Taisha”, and this is why local people in Shimane has been calling October as “Kamiarizuki” (Kami=god, ari=exist, zuki=month).
In 2008, the event called ‘Senza Festival’ started, and the gods moved into a temporary shrine from the main hall to reform the roof of the main shrine.
Normally, on the New Year, we are allowed to enter the main hall, but since this event was held for the past few years, we weren’t allowed to come inside.
But this renovation was completed in May 2013, and the gods has returned to the main shrine.
This ‘home coming’ event is called “Daisengu of Heisei”, and the gods went back to the main shrine for the first time in 5 years.
Because of this special conditions, there was huge line to enter the main hall this year, but as soon as I entered, I felt like my heart has been washed.
I definitely could get more power than any other year.
There is also the largest shimenawa in Japan (about 5 tons), is also worth seeing.
Please visit there at least once in this rare occasion.
