
To celebrate our “flyer friendly” campaign, we are releasing eight special-edition amenity tins starting January 3. Each tin features a hub region and is filled with in-flight amenities carefully selected to make your flight more comfortable.
Available to customers in United BusinessFirst and GlobalFirst on long-haul international flights departing from the United States, the collectible tins highlight each of our eight North America hubs. Customers will receive one of the tin designs, which feature distinctive imagery commissioned by us specifically for the campaign.

To celebrate United's new "fly the friendly skies" campaign, our premium-cabin customers will receive a special edition amenity kit on international flights departing the U.S. beginning Jan. 3, 2014. Each commemorative tin depicts one of United's eight U.S. hub regions. Here's what you should know:
The special edition tins will be available from Jan. 3 through March 1, or until supplies are depleted.
Distribute one tin to each premium-cabin customer on international U.S. outbound flights only. Distribute the regular amenity kits on international U.S. inbound flights.
For United Global First, present a commemorative tin to customers, along with the standard amenity kit, which will also be boarded.
For United BusinessFirst, present a commemorative tin to customers. The standard amenity kit will not be provisioned in addition to the commemorative tin because the contents of the kits are the same.
The assortment of tins is random. If a customer requests a tin representing a specific location and it is available, feel free to honor the customer's request.
Follow all current amenity kit procedures. Do not distribute to customers seated in United Economy or United Economy Plus.

数に限りがあるうちは、SFOが欲しいなど、アテンダントさんにお願いすることは可能だそうですが、アテンダントさんへの注意事項として、エコノミークラスとエコノミープラスの搭乗者へは絶対に配ってはいけないとのこと、おねだりしてももらえないそうです。
一応3月1日までのキャンペーンらしいですが、私がもらえるとしたら来月搭乗予定のLAX-NRT(もちろん日本発のWクラス料金からのアップグレードですが)だけでしょう。
ぱっと見ではスイスインターナショナルのビジネスクラスでもらえる鉛筆入れのようなアメニティーみたいです。
何に対してフレンドリーなのかわかりませんが(太平洋路線でのエコノミークラスのアルコール飲料を有料化したりマイレージのルール改定があったりとアンフレンドリーなところばかり目立ちますが)一応ブログねたのひとつとして、もらえたらまた記事にしますね(笑)
