６月というといよいよ梅雨のシーズン・・・雨というイメージですね

旧暦で６月は「水無月」(みなづき）といいます 水のない月
June is 「Minazuki」 in the lunar calendar．No water in June
この無は「の」を意味するそうで水無月は「水の月」という意味。 陰暦六月は、田んぼに水を引く月であったため、水の月＝水無月といわれるようになったそうです。
As this nothing uses adnominal particle meaning"no", Minazuki becomes "water moon". Since June in the lunar calendar was the month when water was drawn into the rice fields, it is called that the month of water = Minazuki.
