JR-Kyushu released their IC card "SUGOCA" are able to use in common with
"TOICA"(JR-Central) and "ICOCA"(JR-West) from 2011 Spring.
After this common use starts,"Suica"(JR-East),"TOICA","ICOCA","SUGOCA" can use each area.
(Also "Kitaca"(JR-Hokkaido) can use "Suica" mutually.)

Multi use of IC cards are hot trend recently.
In 11th Aug.,JR-East and JR-Central,Meitetsu and Nagoya municiple subway announced
mutually use of thier IC cards.
Also in 18th Aug.,JR-group(exclude JR-Shikoku) and Keikyu annouced
it can use their IC card as payment at "Seven-eleven",largest convinience store in Japan
(number of shops:12825 as 2010 July) from 2011 Spring.
