JR West announced outline of new commuter train which emphasise passengers' safety.
The new train named Type 225 is for "Urban network" in Osaka area,
the 1st train consist of 8 cars.
This EMU introduce many safety facility,like crashable zone,additional straps,
color orange for safety equipment and so on.
The number of cars at 1st stage are 226.
110 for New rapid service on Tokaido & Sanyo line(Type 225-0 Max:130km/h),
116 for Hanwa line(Type 225-5000 Max:120km/h).
