In addition to the set of Nike Air Max All Star High & Low with Clear uppers, Journeys and Nike decided to experiment on a slight variant of the set; this pair glows in the dark too! Using the Low with the clear upper, nearly all the other parts of this sneaker glows in the dark. The entire sole is in the gummy greenish glow in the dark materials as well as the trimmings on the upper which also feature glow in the dark properties. As with the other two, we highly recommend a pair of fun and interesting socks to go with these, going sockless is not recommended at all! This pair is also exclusively available at Journeys.
We don’t remember too many sneakers with clear uppers before the ESPO Air Force II that came out a few years back. Since than, we’ve seen a number of Nike’s including the Clot Air Max 1, Invisible Woman Air Force 1s and recently the Trainer Dunk Low Swimming which also featured clear panels on the upper. Its interesting to note that Nike (which is owned by Nike) decided to put out a set of Air Max All Star in both a low top and high top where the entire upper is clear. While the best thing is to wear a playful or interesting pair of socks when when wearing clear sneakers, it would be a sin to go sockless. We have a Air Max All Star from mastermind JAPAN, Number (N)ine’s Jack Purcell and another from Thom Browne and finally a cheap nike shoes for sale Skidgrip done up by Medicom. mastermind’s Chuck features a zippered heel and a skull on the tongue while NN’s JP favors a zipper over laces. Thom Browne’s Purcell features a woven red, white and blue ribbon design and the Medicom design is a simple white slipon with a silly hybrid woodland critter on the toes.
