Last winter, Jeff Staple teamed up with Converse to spread his “Pigeon” color scheme to nike free 2 cheap another venue. The Staple x Converse “Pigeon” Sea Star might not have caused quite the same havoc as the original Pigeon Dunk SB’s, but it still made for a very nice offering. Now Staple and Converse have joined forces again as part of Converse’s 1HUND(RED) project to help fight AIDS in Africa. This new version of the Sea Star sticks to the (RED) color scheme, using a black suede upper with a white midsole and of course, red accents. Some notable touches are the co-branded nike free run sale cheap logo tabs that appear on the heels and ankles of both shoes and the “100″ logo stitched into the tongue. If you like what you see, these will available Thursday exclusively at ReedSpace.

With Nike SB’s success in transitioning into skate footwear, it’s no surprise that Converse also head in that direction. The inclusion of their new CONS Skate collection could just be fact that Nike now owns Converse, but regardless of the fact, it’s definitely a good look for the brand. With that said, here’s a preview cheap nike free run sale of some Holiday 2009 releases. The CONS Pro Leather is pretty self explanatory- leather, some with perforations, and in this case with accents of red. The CTS is a skate version of the Chuck Taylor All Star, featuring extra padding in the collar, insole and a memory foam tongue. This CTS low is all grey with an all suede upper, even down to the toe cap which is traditionally rubber. The CTS Mid also offers a look of a Chuck but with a slightly lower ankle cut. The black with red accents is always a fave colorway amongst sneaker aficionados. All of these are slick looking and comfy, no matter if you’re skating in them or not. Look out for the Pro Leather and the CTS models sometime next week. via HighSnobiety.

“We wanted to reference the skate and surf vibe of the 1980s and the Skidgrip was a great, authentic foundation.” Keith Hufnagel is a true OG presence in the skateboarding and streetwear communities, so his endorsement of the Converse Skidgrip and choosing it to represent his namesake store in the 1Hund(RED) Collection is about as ‘real’ as it gets. This Huf for Converse release is a simple black canvas midtop sneaker with tonal serifed ‘H’s printed all over the upper and the Huf square logo on the rear midsole. They’re set to drop everywhere for $75 this Saturday, October 3rd, including the Huf stores in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
