４月13日（月）ノルウェー大使館オーロラホールにて、『日本グリーグ協会創立30周年プレ事業 祝賀会＆ミニコンサート』（主催：日本グリーグ協会、共催：ノルウェー大使館）が開催されました。日本グリーグ協会は6月15日で創立30周年を迎えます。
On Monday, April 13, the “30th Anniversary Pre-Celebration: Reception & Mini-Concert” (organized by the Grieg Society of Japan and co-hosted by the Norwegian Embassy) was held at the Aurora Hall of the Norwegian Embassy. The Grieg Society of Japan will celebrate its 30th anniversary on June 15.
祝賀会では、私は主催者ご挨拶をさせていただきました。日本グリーグ協会の活動理念及び活動内容をお伝えし、支援者の皆様に感謝の意を申し上げました。ノルウェー大使館という場所を考慮し、スピーチは英語（日本語訳はスクリーン投影）でさせていただきました。
At the celebration, I delivered the opening remarks on behalf of the organizers. I explained the mission and activities of The Grieg Society of Japan and expressed my gratitude to all our supporters. Given that the event was held at the Norwegian Embassy, I delivered my speech in English (with a Japanese translation projected on the screen).
来賓の御祝辞では、御多用にもかかわらず、クリスティン・イグルム駐日ノルウェー大使閣下に御臨席を賜り、日本グリーグ協会へ温かい祝福のメッセージをいただきました。
In her congratulatory remarks, Her Excellency Kritin Iglum, the Norwegian Ambassador to Japan, graciously attended the event despite her busy schedule and offered warm words of congratulations to the Grieg Society of Japan.
ミニコンサートでは、ノルウェーからシェル・ヴィーグ本協会名誉会員と男性ヴォーカルアンサンブルConsoritum Vocale Osloによるグリーグとグレゴリオ聖歌が披露されました。
The mini-concert featured performances of works by Grieg and Gregorian chant by Kjell Viig, an honorary member of our Society from Norway, and the male vocal ensemble Consoritum Vocale Oslo.
その他、会員の方々による演奏、協会と長年親交のあるフィエルルフテン、日本ノルウェー協会合唱団の方々によるグリーグ作品が披露され、素晴らしい演奏に大きな拍手がおくられました。
In addition, members performed, and works by Grieg were presented by Fjellufen—with whom the association has long maintained a close relationship—and the Norway-Japan Society Singing Group; their wonderful performances were met with enthusiastic applause.
ミニコンサート最後は、全員合唱でグリーグの「Våren」を歌いました。
The mini-concert concluded with everyone singing Grieg’s “Våren” in unison.
