Last weekend, I went to see the contemporary performance project

The project has very new idea for producing dance performance.
and it was succeeded as the first time challenge. I guess.
4 directors who had chosen by JCDN, travel around Japan and
what they do is producing a new piece, and performing at several performing spots.
The pieces changes and grows dramatically as they traveled and met many people.
and their last station was Tokyo.
And I went to see their conclusion.
My friend is a director of AAPA.
We were friends since University. We produced some performing projects together.
I am very Jazz Dance person. so, it is sometimes difficult for me to stay watching contemporary piece, but some of them I feel very very good.
and I thought AAPA's piece, this time, was most great one in their works.
It was above conception or message.
Just the enumeration of words and feelings.
Dancers connected those elements.
each audience would read between the lines or spaces.
Or we just see the hole picture.
It was about balance and harmony.
Talking about him, it was kind of his habit to enumerate words or thoughts.
And I thought it was funny point of him before.lol
But he just kept on doing simply how he was, with honest attitude.
I'm very happy that he finally met his style.
And maybe he knows it just the beginning.
