by Johor Straits and Malaysia.
こうやって見るとシンガポールの上半分はジョホール海峡と
マレーシアに囲まれています。
There is news that the property price in Johor Bahru is
dropping rapidly amid the COVID pandemic.
There were massive new developments in the last few years
and a lot of foreign investors including Singaporeans have
invested in the new condominiums.
However, the lockdown and shutting the borders disabled
Singaporeans travel to their weekend homes and the price
dropped significantly. I know that quite a number of Japanese
invested here as well.
ジョホールバル周辺はここ数年乱開発をして、かなりの数のコンドミニアムが
建築されてバブルの様相でしたが、COVIDによりマレーシアとシンガポールの
国境が閉鎖されていから、価格が暴落中。すでに35%ぐらい下がったようです。
まあ、クアラルンプールに長く住んでいた立場からするとジョホールの物件の
落ちる前の価格が異常に高かったので、正常化したと言えると思いますが。
