ジョー・バイデンがバラク・オバマの副大統領だったとき、既に経済再生の政策は第二次世界大戦後最悪だったが、今回はもっと悪くなる可能性がある・・・。
バイデンが大統領の座に就いたとき、あらゆる経済的環境が彼に有利だった。
施行が異常なほど速かったおかげで、彼の政権は史上最も素晴らしいワクチン生産プロセスを引き継いだのだ。
コロナ不況は予防措置のロックダウンと需要ショックによって生まれたのであって、経済の根本的な失策によるものではない。アメリカは、2020年初頭の稀にみる厳しい労働市場と確実に賃金が自然上昇していたパンデミック前の好況に、再び戻ろうとしているかに見えた。
ドナルド・トランプを愛していようが憎んでいようが、彼による政策のおかげで、かつて我々が完全雇用を成立させていると思っていたものの概念が崩れたことは否定できない。
