ファーストピースとは

もっとも重要な最初の平和“ファーストピース”は、人の魂の中に生まれる。人々が宇宙（ユニバース）やそこに宿るすべての力との間に、つながりや一体感を見いだせたとき、その平和は生まれるのだ。宇宙（ユニバース）の中心に、大いなるスピリットであるワカン・ダンカが宿り、しかもその中心はいたるところにあり、われわれ一人ひとりの中にもあることを理解したときに生まれるのだ。

これが、真の平和であり、他はその反映にすぎない。二番目の平和“セカンド・ピース”は二人の人間の間に生まれる。そして三番目の平和“サード・ピース”は、二つの国の間で起こるものである。

しかし、とりわけここで理解すべきことは何度も言うように、真の平和は一人ひとりの魂の中にあるということだ。それに気づかない限り、国と国の間に平和が訪れることは決してないだろう。
