Jul 23 the big day for my babies

Before going off to work, I dropped them off at vet's clinic. The vet had a quick check over them. Unfortunately, he told me that my girl's kneecap is a little loose for the hind legs. Luckily it's just grade I so no surgery is needed at the moment. However she needs to take supplement to hopefully help the problem. Else, the problem might get worse.

So I left them at the clinic and head off to work. In very short time, I received a call from the vet which made me so nervous. But the nurse was only asking if I want the "thread" dissolvable or not. Then later, they called again around lunch time which freaked me out once again. And their surgery is already done.

After work, I couldn't wait to pick them out. When I got there, the mlae nurse helper asked me to go in to pick up my boy as he' s slightly aggressive and he also pooed and hopefully that he hasn't stepped on it. When I got there, of coruse my boy was extremely excited to see me and turn around and around. And the helper yelled at me "hurry and open the gate". I was quite upset like how would I know how to open the gate in the clinic? By the time I took my boy out from cage, he had poo poo all over his feet and skirt... OMG... and he couldn't take a shower since he just had a surgery.. I am quite doomed. The helper casually helped me wipe but it's no use at all. I asked him to wipe more yet it's already too late. Luckily Joyce was there with me and when we got them home, she helped me washed off the poo poo off his coat.

These few days, they ain't very happy with the cone. My boy is not use to going back to the cage for pee pee or poo poo... so he had made 1 or 2 mess per day.... and he quickly adapted by even learning how to play ball with cone over him. Yet my girl is quite chicken.. perhaps because she can't see as much and the cone makes freaky sound if she bumps it to the wall or the cabinet. I feel bad for them ... 10 days will pass by quickly... let's hope ... let's pray.
