no it's not right to talk back to your parents
i know it.. usually i keep all my feelingts to myself, not this time
For some reason, his standard for me and my bro is relatively stricter than the rest of the kids of our generation. Like sometimes even though dim sum starts at 1pm, he would tell us it's 1230 to ensure we arrive on time..
Tue night, we had a dinner gathering because my aunts were back from the Aus trip. We usually have 2 tables at my uncle's. When the first table filled up, my dad asked me to call my bro to see where he was. I told him that my bro called earlier and said his wife is not off yet so they will be late. He thought I said my bro not off yet and questioned me in front of everyone. My bro already instructed me that I need to specify that it is his wife still at work otherwise my dad will doubt about him not off by then. Then I couldn't help myself and added that it's so normal not being able to get off on time . After a few seconds, he told me that I don't need give so many explanations. I couldn't resist it and defended that so many people still haven't arrived by then. He asked who? I told him the other table is completely empty. It made me so mad talking to him and I cried secretly. I dun understand why he is like that... maybe he's getting old and wacky. There! that explains it!
