Thought i'd cook dinner tonight since i'm on holidays.....


made creamy tomato pasta with scallops and baby clams


here it goes:

spaghetti cooking in the background

olive oil in the pan

sauteed the onions

added garlic when the onions started to look soft

then the clams and scallops

as i wanted to keep the scallops bouncy therefore not over cooked, i took them out to be added right at the end


after that, added the red wine (the one i took off the plane :P)

simmered the wine in the clams for a bit, then added the tomato paste, cream then the almost cooked scallops and mixed the pasta which was ready by then into the sauce....

let that soak for a bit and now it's ready... served with parmasan cheese

yummmm, it actually tasted good... i would make it again for sure....


and the cake which i made in the middle of the day, it turned out nice and moist... goes well with the toffee choco caramel ice cream i already had in the freezer
