Its been such a long time that i'm able to wake up and not thing about work.... haha... 
felt weird that i didn't really know what to do today.....(・_・;)?
all the shops are closed
the weather was awesome 
( and still is) so there was no chance that i'm staying at home.....
with my sis, i went for a drive where ever the wind took me... 
i ended up at Maroubra beach.... i haven't been here for years... i've forgotten how close it was... i even managed to find parking across the beach... yippeeeee
wasn't every busy at all here.... much more relaxing then
time to get our feet wet

there was a bush reserve next to the beach which is common in this country... for some reason there is always bush next to beaches

then we drove over to centenial park for more wandering about
walked wherever our feet took us.... good form of exercise... hehe
the garden here are well looked after.... although i come here often for walks, i never really walked over to this end of the park...

懐かしい... when i was in primary school, at the end of each year the school would take us to this park and have a whole day out here at the duck pond section... used to climb those paper bark trees... fun fun
the bridge which takes you across still exists
where to now... thought we'd go to another beach... Bondi... i hardly drive here coz it always so packed out and you can never find parking.. but today i was lucky got one just around the corner..
as expected it was busy... mainly tourists.. locals don't really swim here as there are plenty of other beaches in Sydney more private than here
shops were opened... and its been ages since i've eaten fish and chips here...
fish and chips with calamari rings... the good old fashioned way, wrapped in paper
you wouldn't be able to guess what this is.. its a deep fried mars bar!
its soooo sweet, but quite nice.. like a banana fritter... had a coconut batter so it tasted different to the fish and chips
the drive was great today... streets were quiet... only coz today is x'mas day...
