I'm working from home today, as i'm flying out in the evening. It takes me over an hr to get to the office and since I leave closer to the airport than from work, it would be much more feasible to work from home.
You would think that it will be all smooth running as you start as soon as you jump out of bed and still in your pjs…. Haha
But what could have gone wrong happened from the moment I tried to log into the network.
The remote login page was just upgraded and I wasn’t able to log in the usual way as before. Had to call the IT help desk and after calls going back and forth for an hr it finally worked. Those instructions were what they had informed us initially.
I desperately had to submit and finalise reports before I leave, so had to makes sure I was able to log into the network and then have access to my emails.
Managed to get the report done as I had started it late last night and when I was about to submit it kept saying password error. I had seem password error all morning and now this, it was driving me mad.
After rebooting the laptop, for some reason it decided to work again. Thank goodness.
Now all approved, only need to send the letter out so need to make a trip to the post office. I don’t have stamps at home anymore. Everything is electronic these days!
Anymore bad luck this morning…. That’s Murphy’s Law for you. When bad things start, there will be more bad things to top it up , making your day worst.
Hopefully it will just lighten up by the afternoon.
